This set of 25 auto Colt pistols, one in a matte finish, the other in a polished finish, are engraved and ready to be nickel plated! Keep an eye out for additional posts once these pistols are fully complete!

Gouse Freelance Firearms Engraving
Superior Quality Workmanship from Renowned Master Gun Engraver, Michael Gouse
WIP Pair of 1908 Colts
92 Deluxe Winchester
This engraved 92 Deluxe Winchester is engraved in a Winchester Factory Pattern that’s true to age of the rifle. This little 25/20 would have been the cat’s meow as a varmint rifle in its day!
This Winchester features a white-tail deer on one side and a badger on the loading-gate side!

Colt SAA 4th Gen
This is the current edition of the Colt Single Action Army engraved in a Helfricht-style American Scroll. The engraving on this gun is just over 50% coverage. This makes for a very handsome gun without a huge cash outlay. In fact, most of the guns that were engraved during the period of the American West, were between 50 – 75% coverage. You’ll find very few 25% or full coverage engraving on guns during this period.

Marlin 1895 45-70
This is a beautiful Marlin deer rifle! It features American Scroll engraving with a running buck, doe, and farm scene on one side and a Whitetail buck portrait on the off-side.
The Marlin is a thoroughly modern lever-action rifle in stainless steel that is ideal for hunting in thick cover.

Custom Mauser 257 Roberts
This Mauser has been engraved in semi-relief carved oak leaves, based on a pattern used by the late, great Pennsylvania gunsmith, Paul Yaeger.
The semi-relief carved oak leaves are generally less expensive to engrave as only the background is removed; the leaves themselves aren’t carved.
This is a lovely quarter bore rifle in the classic Ned Roberts’ caliber of .257 Roberts’.
The rifle is in the process of being finished by Canyon Creek Custom Gunstocks based out of Conner, MT.

World’s Smallest Elephant Gun
Finally completed, here’s the InterArms PPK/S pistol featuring elephants and mammoths! Hence, the world’s smallest elephant gun!
These older InterArms PPK/S’ are among my very favorites of the Walther series of pocket pistols. I like the extended frame with the short slide of the PPK.
In my mind, they are among the best .380 caliber pocket autos ever!
To see the works in progress, see this post and this post.

WIP-PPKS WITH ELEPHANTS (PT2)
This is the other side of the PPKS that I posted previously. This side features 3 prehistoric mammoths! Again, each mammoth is less than 1/2″ in height.
Once this pistol is complete, it will certainly be unique. I look forward to posting the completed gun soon!

WIP-PPKS With Elephants
A work in progress PPK/S. The first thing that had to be done was to wipe all of the slide lettering. Then, we had to re-polish to match the original finishing of the gun. The engraving style was matched to a 1911 that I had previously engraved for the same client! See the 1911 here!

Remington Rolling Block Action
This action shows how you can really dress up a single shot action without breaking the bank! The action of this particular gun is engraved in American Scroll which would have been used at the time that this Rolling Block was manufactured.

3 Barrel 12 Gauge Charles Daly Shotgun
A nearly full-coverage engraved Charles Daly Shotgun with an extraordinarily ornate foliate design throughout. The engraving wraps around the entirety of the action. It features additional engraving across the trigger guard, fore end iron, as well as across the top strap and the opening lever!
This 12 Gauge Charles Daly Shotgun is an extremely unique 3-barrel! The gun is manufactured on state of the art machinery in Turkey. The quality of Turkey’s current guns are truly astounding in regard to quality and are surprisingly reasonably priced.
I would rate many of their guns as good, if not better, than many of the current offerings out of the rest of Europe.
This particular shotgun’s engraving on the stainless receiver has been inked to make the work truly stand out.
